So many times I went for a run in the dark or in the rain and wondered “what if something happens to me?”. Even though I always make sure to wear reflecting gear and I’m following illuminated roads as much as possible, crossing roads and running close to roads remains potentially very dangerous. My running buddy is usually my iPhone. Who would be able to talk for me if I become unconscious after getting hit by a car? And without even going there what if I just dropped suddenly on the ground for some reason? If my iPhone broke, or if the person finding me can’t use it, who would know who I am? Who to contact? I would be helpful to first time responders to have my medical history in order to give me the best medical response adapted to my eventual condition or medication allergies. Sure you could take with you a piece of identification, a driving license card, or a birth certificate card with some paper describing your allergies. Where to keep all this so it gets easily discovered? And what if you lose all this on the go?
